Chivonne Bain, trading as SOL MICHERAE, is the data controller for the personal information described in this notice. This means we decide how and why your information is used. Paddle.com acts as our reseller and Merchant of Record for payments; it processes your payment details under its own privacy notice, available at paddle.com.

• Account information — your name, email address and password when you create an account or sign in.
• Card content — the recipient names, greetings and personal messages you enter when creating a card, and the share links you generate.
• Order information — records of the card packs you purchased, the amount paid and the payment status. Card numbers and full payment details are handled by Paddle and never reach us.
• Usage and device data — IP address, browser type, device identifiers and how you use the site, collected automatically for security and to keep the site working.
• Support messages — anything you send us when asking for help.

• To create your account, let you sign in and provide the card service — performance of our contract with you.
• To process orders, unlock purchased cards and keep your card balance and order history accurate — performance of our contract with you.
• To keep the site secure, prevent fraud and misuse, and fix problems — our legitimate interests.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it — our legitimate interests.
• To show personalised cards to the recipients you choose — performance of our contract with you. Please only include content you are happy for the recipient to see.

• Service providers — companies that host the website, store data and help us run the service (including email delivery for sign-in). They may only process your information on our instructions.
• Paddle.com — our reseller and Merchant of Record, which handles checkout, payments, tax compliance, invoicing, refunds and customer service for orders.
• Card recipients — when you share a card, anyone with its unique link can view the design, greeting, recipient name and message you entered.
• Professional advisers — lawyers, accountants and insurers, where reasonably needed.
• Authorities — where we are legally required to disclose information.

We never sell your personal information.

We keep your account and order information for as long as your account is active, and afterwards only where needed for tax, accounting or legal purposes. Card content is kept so your purchased cards remain available, and is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed.

Depending on where you live, you have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; delete your information; restrict or object to our use of it; receive a portable copy; and withdraw consent where we rely on it. To exercise any right, contact us at info.solmicherae@gmail.com. We respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Your information may be processed outside your home country, including outside the UK and EEA. Where it is, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls and verification of every payment confirmation we receive. No method of transmission is completely secure, but we work hard to keep your data safe.

We use only essential cookies and similar storage that keep you signed in and remember your purchase session. We do not currently use advertising or third-party analytics cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the site from working.
